## Resource

Monty Don is hanging up his gardening boots — after 23 years as the beloved face of Gardeners’ World, he’s announced this will be his final series. From his early days at a different studio to his iconic home garden, Longmeadow, Monty has nurtured a global audience with his passion for plants and nature. He credits the BBC team and viewers for making the show so meaningful, and while he’s stepping down as lead presenter, he’s not disappearing — he’ll keep creating with the BBC, penning more books, and tending his garden with his dog. This marks the end of an era for a Friday night staple, but Monty’s love for gardening and storytelling? Still very much alive.
