## Resource

A biogas farm planned for Marigold Farm in Great Bowden is back on the table after a year-long delay, sparking fresh outrage from locals. The proposed anaerobic digestion plant would turn poultry manure and crops into green energy, with council officers now leaning toward approval — citing minimal traffic and environmental impacts. But residents remain deeply skeptical, warning of unbearable odors, unsafe roads, and daily lorry chaos just 85 meters from homes. One long-term resident calls it “mayhem,” while the community association demands the council consider real-life consequences before giving the green light — with a final decision looming next week.
