## Resource

Aerospace workers at SPS Technologies are set to launch an indefinite strike this Friday, rejecting a two-year pay deal offering just 4% annually — a move union Unite calls inadequate after years of low offers. This is the third consecutive year workers have voted for industrial action, and their walkout could severely disrupt critical aerospace and defense supply chains. The union also accuses management of undermining working conditions by cutting emergency holidays and altering absence policies — while pointing out that pay at rival Precision Castparts Corp is higher. With no end date in sight, pressure mounts on SPS Technologies to offer a more competitive deal before operations grind to a halt.
