## Resource

Learn English through today’s real news. Clear, steady English at A2, with a full transcript. In this episode: India's internet depends on many undersea cables that land very close together near Mumbai, so one hidden weak spot could slow data traffic even if the system reroutes through. Also: France says 2026 was its hottest summer ever, with long heatwaves, low rainfall, excess deaths, and wildfires adding to the impact. Today’s English focus: landing point, the place where a cable comes ashore = the place where a cable comes ashore. Vocabulary: cable (a thick line that carries data under the sea), bandwidth (the amount of data a network can carry), landing point (the place where a cable comes ashore).
