## Resource

Nine Lawrence-area high school seniors are among the top 1% of U.S. students—earning National Merit Scholarship semifinalist status after crushing their preliminary SAT scores. Six from the district (Ben Jackson, Connor Coons, Davian Copeland, Rhett Sullivan, Sadie Reynolds, Sejun Yun) join three from Bishop Seabury Academy (Jane Ma, Charlie Maples, Alice Pulsinelli). To advance, they must submit detailed applications with grades, essays, recommendations, and extracurriculars—with over 15,000 expected to become finalists by February.
