## Resource

Chiefs’ starting tackle Josh Simmons could miss Week 1 against the Broncos due to a lingering back injury, raising serious concerns for protecting Patrick Mahomes as he returns from knee rehab. With the Broncos’ pass rush ranking among the league’s best last season, losing Simmons is a major blow. Backup tackles Kahlil Benson and Jaylon Moore, both battling for the starting role, may be thrust into the spotlight — but neither has shown much confidence yet. The Chiefs hope Simmons can return by Week 3, or else he’ll likely land on injured reserve. Fans are bracing for a tough opener with an uncertain offensive line.
