## Resource

Tucker Franklin, Chiefs beat reporter for KC Sports Network, is grieving the sudden loss of his dad — but got an unexpected lifeline from Patrick Mahomes himself, who slid into his DMs with heartfelt support. The Chiefs QB sent a message praying for Tucker’s family and letting him know the entire Chiefs Kingdom stands with him — a gesture Tucker called “more than he could express.” Mahomes even responded with a heart emoji, sealing the emotional moment. While Tucker’s been deep-diving into Chiefs history on YouTube and co-hosting a podcast, he’s had to pause recently to be there for his family. Now, as the Chiefs prepare for their high-stakes Week One showdown against the Broncos on Monday Night Football, Mahomes returns to the field after a torn ACL — a powerful reminder of his resilience both on and off the gridiron.
