## Resource

Patrick Mahomes is set to make his triumphant return under center for the Chiefs’ opener against the Broncos—nine months after tearing his ACL and LCL. Coach Reid confirmed it’s likely, barring any last-minute surprises. His comeback comes after a brutal 2023 season without him, where the Chiefs missed the playoffs for the first time in a decade. While his arm remains elite, his mobility on the run will be the real test. Backup QBs Justin Fields and Garrett Nussmeier are ready if needed, but everyone’s watching Mahomes’ legs—and his leadership—to see if he can reclaim his MVP magic.
