## Resource

Patrick Mahomes is back on the field after a brutal ACL and LCL tear, cleared for football activities since July and fully participating in practices — though he sat out preseason. With last season’s 64 scrambles leading to his injury, questions linger: Will he run as much? Coaches haven’t changed his style, but some expect more pocket passing — which he’s proven he can do. For the Denver Broncos, this game is huge — they swept the Chiefs last year, and QB Bo Nix will face Mahomes for the fourth time, both coming off surgery. Mahomes’ stats dipped even before the injury, adding pressure to prove he’s still elite. And don’t forget — the Broncos’ defense leads the league in sacks. This matchup? Pure chess with a knee brace.
