## Resource

Patrick Mahomes, recovering from a brutal ACL and LCL tear, is poised to return for the Chiefs’ season opener against Denver — and he’s not just coming back, he’s ready to play his usual high-risk, high-reward game. Coach Reid confirms it’s almost a lock, with Mahomes fully participating in practice and showing no hesitation. Without him last year, Kansas City missed the playoffs while Denver claimed the AFC West. This Monday night showdown could be the Chiefs’ first step toward reclaiming their throne — and Mahomes is determined to lead the charge.
