Welcome! and Thank you for listening. This episode is about early data of my personal continous glucose monitor. These sensors can be purchased without a prescription and are used to monitor the glucose in the interstitial fluid. Translated there is a mild delay from the blood to the cell fluids where the glucose is monitored and then uploaded to an App on your smartphone. Diabetes and glucose intolerance are the biggest risk factors for cardiovascular disease. Often, people assume that their if glucose is normal fasting, then they are ok. The problem is that insulin resistence occurs much sooner and still carries the risk of chronic insulin elevations.
