This book is one of my favorites and has been a part of my life since childhood. The book describes the lions' attacks, which halted construction and killed nearly 140 people, and Patterson's efforts to kill them, which involved facing challenges like floods and worker mutinies, and ultimately became a classic adventure and hunting story. ## Actions - request_transcript: `POST https://stenobird.com/v1/public/podcasts/ironside-podcast-4814207/episodes/ep-114-the-lions-of-tsavo/transcription-requests` — Idempotently request low-priority transcript generation for this episode. - read_markdown: `GET https://stenobird.com/podcast/ironside-podcast-4814207/ep-114-the-lions-of-tsavo.md` — Read the agent-friendly Markdown representation of this episode resource.
