Today I want to draw a cowboy riding a horse. This was an artist submitted idea! Thank you so much, Emi :) We’ll draw a horse of course, and a cowboy wearing a cowboy hat and cowboy boots. We'll also give our cowboy a lasso so he can wrangle his cattle. In this episode we'll try a technique of noticing which parts of the picture to draw first so that your cowboy looks like he's on top of his horse. Here are 3 ideas your imagination can wonder about based on our drawing today: If cow boys are riding horses, why are they called cow boys? Cowboys love their horses, do you think horses love their cowboys? If you be like a cowboy or cowgirl and could ride a horse anywhere, where would you go? What if your horse was invisible?
