Yet if that compromise is the political price of securing a new West Coast pipeline, she argues it may ultimately be worth it. Hall Findlay also discusses the corporate incentives that may still be needed to spur new oilsands investment, the politics of so-called corporate welfare, potential opposition within the Liberal Party, and whether Canadians can be persuaded to support the “grand bargain.” This podcast is generously supported by Don Archibald.
