When we moved into our home, before we planted our garden - we tested our soil. Why ? Because I had no idea what the health of our soil was , the pH, the nutrients . I needed to get a baseline . Plants need certain nutrients to grow and thrive - and when we got the results - I knew exactly what amendments I needed to add for the soil to be a happy growth medium. The result - an abundant garden. I could have just thrown some stuff in the ground , tried some random amendments, and hoped for the best but most likely I would have had a poor harvest. Testing our gut microbiome is the same idea. It’s to show us where we are starting to help us get to where we want to go.good energy, healthy gut , vital lifestyle . If we’ve had a lot of imbalance , gut infections, antibiotics , etc. OR a lot of chronic health symptoms such as reflux, constipation, hormone imbalance , autoimmunity , or low energy . Testing the gut can begin to show us the ROOT CAUSE and what specifically we need to bring in for support . You can continue to do the guesswork but also…. The numbers don’t lie.
