And why does the employee handbook have six rules that no retail store should ever need? In this chilling episode, we follow the story of a new night manager who takes a job at the last remaining Toys R Us store. The job seems too easy: inventory is low, customers are few, and the pay is suspiciously high. But the rules make no sense. Rule #1: Never touch the Geoffrey the Giraffe statue in the back office after midnight. Rule #2: If the music box display starts playing by itself, lock the front doors and leave the store immediately. Rule #3: Ignore any customer who says they are looking for the "creepy crawlers." When the manager breaks the one rule about the returns desk, he discovers what happens to the people who try to return a toy after it has been "marked." This is a story about what happens when a dead brand refuses to stay buried, and the six rules that might be the only thing keeping you alive.
