Faddis also looks at how much weight an office should give a reported 11-1 split when jurors never returned a unanimous verdict. Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott joins the conversation from a different direction. She looks at why the Clancy case has become so personal for viewers and why postpartum psychosis is being argued as a moral identity question instead of only a medical and legal issue. Her focus is on what that atmosphere communicates to parents who may already be frightened by their own thoughts and symptoms.
