A former financial manager testified at Burke's preliminary hearing that the singer generated roughly $10 million to $11.5 million in gross earnings from 2023 through 2025. Property records reported after Celeste's remains were found showed two Texas homes transferred into his mother's name. On the criminal side, Burke has pleaded not guilty. He was ordered to stand trial following a July preliminary hearing and remains in custody without bail. His private defense team later withdrew, the public defender's office took over, and the next status conference is set for October 19, 2026.
