In dieser Folge sprechen wir über interkulturelle Mediation am Beispiel der US-amerikanischen und der deutschen Praxis. Wir sprechen mit Annette Doyle über ihren beruflichen Weg zwischen Deutschland und den USA und darüber, warum Mediation gerade in technischen und ingenieurgeprägten Branchen wichtig ist, weil Konflikte dort oft auch eine menschliche und relationale Ebene haben. Wir greifen außerdem auf, wie Annette über Non-Violent Communication zur Mediation gekommen ist und welche Elemente aus ihrer Ausbildung, die sie bei INKOVEMA in Leipzig absolviert hatte, sie in ihre Arbeit in den USA übertragen hat, etwa strukturiertes Vorgehen, aktives Zuhören, Entschleunigung und das Erkennen des organisational relevanten Konfliktthemas. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt auf der kulturellen Anpassung von Mediation in den USA, der Rolle informeller und beziehungsorientierter Verfahren sowie auf Community Mediation und freiwilligem Engagement.
