There were huge celebrations among the Para Cycling Community in Ireland on Sunday when Ballymoe's Richael Timothy outsprinted Dutch rider Aniek van den Aarssen and France’s Tifany Huot Marchand to win Gold at the UEC Para Cycling European Road Championships in Maniago and Montereale Valcellina. It was Timothy’s second medal of the Championships, having already won bronze in the Women’s C3 Time Trial on Friday. Richael spoke to John Mulligan following her return home.
