Cs: Jirka, Tereza a Václav byli právě na cestě k jejich příteli, který už měl údajně rozložený piknik u starého dubu. En: Jirka, Tereza, and Václav were on their way to meet their friend, who supposedly had a picnic set up near an old oak tree. Cs: Jirka se smíchem říkal: "Koho ještě letos napadne piknik v centru Prahy? Ale co, aspoň jednou se nemusíme bát aut." En: With a laugh, Jirka said, "Who else has thought of a picnic in the center of Praha this year? But hey, at least we don’t have to worry about cars for once." Cs: "Jasně, aspoň jsem mohla vzít mapu," odpověděla Tereza, která vždy měla ráda věci pod kontrolou. En: "Sure, I should have brought a map," replied Tereza, who always liked having things under control. Cs: Ale dnes jí její zvědavost táhla ke spontánnosti. En: But today, her curiosity pulled her toward spontaneity. Cs: Jak kráčeli, Václav se neustále snažil rozesmát Jirku a Terezu vtipy o turistech, kteří se na hradbách snaží najít „Pražský hrad“. En: As they walked, Václav kept trying to make Jirka and Tereza laugh with jokes about tourists trying to find "Pražský hrad" on the ramparts. Cs: Smích byl přerušován jen zpěvem ptáků a dusotem jejich bot po štěrkových cestičkách. En: Their laughter was only interrupted by the birds' song and the crunch of their shoes on the gravel paths.
