Good afternoon, I'm _ with today's episode of EZ News. Tai-Ex opening The Tai-Ex opened 449 points higher this morning from yesterday's close, at 43-thousand-809, on turnover of 25.5-billion N-T. The market closed almost unchanged (幾乎沒有變化) on Tuesday after moving by more than 1,000 points during the session. Early gains (早盤漲幅) were reduced by selling, as investors largely ignored an overnight rally (上漲行情) on Wall Street. Lai meets with Eswatini's visiting PM President Lai Ching-te has held talks with visiting Eswatini Prime Minister Russell Dlamini. During the meeting, Lai said the two countries are working together in industry, public health and digital development. He said his administration will continue to strengthen exchanges (加強交流) with Eswatini and help the country meet its development goals (發展目標). The cooperation includes energy projects, such as facilities for storing emergency oil supplies (緊急石油儲備). Lai also thanked Dlamini for Eswatini's support for Taiwan's participation in international organizations (國際組織) during the United Nations General Assembly. MOTC eyeing future of Taoyuan International Airport's Terminal 1 The Ministry of Transport is reportedly considering several options for the future of Terminal 1 at Taoyuan International Airport. The terminal has been in service for nearly 50 years. The ministry says an evaluation (評估) is now underway, but detailed plans will not be released until construction of Terminal 3 is completed at the end of next year. Possible options include demolishing (拆除) and rebuilding Terminal 1 or carrying out another major upgrade (進行升級改建). The Taoyuan International Airport Corporation is expected to submit its own proposal by the end of this year. The terminal was upgraded between 2010 and 2013, raising its annual passenger…
