Im zweiten Halbfinale des Eurovision Song Contest in Basel haben sich einige Favoriten durchgesetzt. So sind etwa Finnland, Malta und Israel weiter. Sowohl Erika Vikman aus Finnland als auch Miriana Conte aus Malta haben dabei auf Anstößiges gesetzt. Erika Vikman wird ihr "Ich komme" auch am Samstag wieder performen. Miriana Conte aus Malta verstand es, zu "servieren". Aber auch weniger klassische Televoting-Songs haben den Weg ins Finale gefunden. "Tavo akys" von Katarsis aus Litauen etwa ist weiter - genauso wie die griechische Ballade "Asteromata" von Klavdia. Für Tschechien hingegen ist die Reise vorbei. Das Team rund um Sänger Adonxs hatte das bislang beste ESC-Ergebnis Tschechiens angekündigt, doch dazu kommt es nun nicht. Auch Irlands "Laika Party" ist zu Ende, bevor sie richtig angefangen hat.
