## Resource

Hellmuth Van Berlo werkte een groot deel van zijn loopbaan in het talenonderwijs in Engeland, Nederland en Duitsland. Zo'n 23 jaar geleden kwam hij in dienst bij de Taalunie, waar hij zich vooral bezighield met het ondersteunen van het Nederlands buiten het taalgebied (NVT). Onlangs is hij met pensioen gegaan en dat was een mooie aanleiding om hem te vragen wat hij in al die jaren zelf geleerd heeft en wat de uitdagingen zijn in het onderwijs Nederlands wereldwijd.
