Soms ontstaan er spanningen in klasgroepen naar aanleiding van culturele, etnische of religieuze verschillen. Hoe reageer je op leerlingen of cursisten die niets met elkaar te maken willen hebben of die ruzie krijgen? Jannie Limburg en Sela Zorlu hebben jarenlange ervaring met interculturele communicatie. Jannie werkte een tiental jaren bij het Nederlandse Expertisecentrum Politie en Allochtonen . Daarna werd ze freelanceintegratiedeskundige; ze geeft trainingen over interculturele communicatie. En Sela werkte jarenlang als docentenopleider aan de Hogeschool Utrecht. Hij gaf o.a. les over interculturaliteit en interculturele communicatie in de NT2-docentenopleiding. Beide experts leggen uit hoe je met individuele leerders of klasgroepen in gesprek kunt gaan naar aanleiding van een conflictsituatie en hoe je aan conflictpreventie kunt doen.
