Wer auf den Spuren der Reformation in Torgau Station macht, kommt um den Besuch der Marienkirche und der Schlosskapelle nicht herum. Letztere, die Schlosskapelle, gilt übrigens als erster protestantischer Kirchenneubau der Welt und wurde 1544 von Martin Luther persönlich in Dienst genommen. Seit Ostern sind die Kirchen wieder täglich außer montags für Besucherinnen und Besucher geöffnet.
