In den kommenden drei Jahren will die EKM, die Evangelische Kirche in Mitteldeutschland, die Bestände von 17 historischen Pfarrbibliotheken erfassen. In den Bibliotheken befinden sich mehr als 23.000 Titel, die Ältesten über 500 Jahre alt. Meist sind es einzelne Blätter, zum Beispiel Handschriften oder Flugblätter, die kunstvoll zu Büchern gebunden wurden. Letzte Woche wurde das von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft geförderte Projekt in Magdeburg vorgestellt.
