Deze week werden we overstelpt met berichten over hoe AI de mensheid kan uitroeien. Dat doet denken aan sciencefictionverhalen en dat is blijkbaar geen toeval. Roland Legrand, voormalig techjournalist bij De Tijd, legt uit hoe techbazen inspiratie halen uit sciencefiction. In het Londense restaurant Pavyllon loopt het momenteel storm voor wat ze zelf ‘het eerste ontbijt met een Michelinster’ noemen. Hoofdredacteur van Sabato An Bogaerts kon een tafeltje bemachtigen en legt uit wat het vijfgangenontbijt precies inhoudt. Naar aanleiding van de Emmy Awards praten we met drievoudig winnaar Tim Van Aelst. Hij won in het verleden met de tv-programma's ‘Benidorm Bastards’, ‘Wat als’ en ‘Hoe zal ik het zeggen’. Maar hoe win je een Emmy? En waarom maakt Van Aelst nu geen tv meer? De 5-redacteur Ella Van Eynde stond urenlang in de rij om Pokémonkaarten te bemachtigen.
