Faith is more than what you see and say—it must be lived out through what you do. Today, we dive into the third strand of the threefold chord of faith: action. Jesus delayed going to Lazarus because He acted in faith, not fear. He told lepers to go show themselves to the priests before they were healed. Elijah asked the widow to feed him first before her miracle came. Every miracle had an act of faith attached to it. James reminds us: “Faith without works is dead.” (James 2:26 ) Faith doesn’t wait for evidence—it moves because God’s Word is already settled.
