Clearly, we know he was a Founding Father and most know he was the first to sign the great document. But beyond that, he is one of the least studied of the Founders. Today, we change that. To help in this challenge to shed light on him we are delighted to welcome as our special guest Robert Allison, Professor of History at Suffolk University, president of the Colonial Society of Massachusetts and chair of Revolution 250. ## Actions - request_transcript: `POST https://stenobird.com/v1/public/podcasts/constitutional-chats-presented-by-constituting-america-280406/episodes/ep-287-constitutional-chats-podcast-robert-allison-celebrating-250-why-john-hancock-signed-first/transcription-requests` — Idempotently request low-priority transcript generation for this episode. - read_markdown: `GET https://stenobird.com/podcast/constitutional-chats-presented-by-constituting-america-280406/ep-287-constitutional-chats-podcast-robert-allison-celebrating-250-why-john-hancock-signed-first.md` — Read the agent-friendly Markdown representation of this episode resource.
