Faust argues that the consequences of redefining marriage extend far beyond marriage licenses. We examine how the degeneration of marriage and parenthood have affected adoption, surrogacy, IVF, biological parents, parental rights, and the growing marketplace for children being slave-trafficked. Ultimately, the political Right cannot simply oppose individual symptoms while ignoring the underlying questions about marriage, family, sex, parenthood, and children's rights.
