After this warning, the Lord told Moses that it was time to ascend Mount Nebo, where he will see the Promised Land before he dies. It’s at this point we enter into today’s reading where Moses has a final word for the people of Israel before he departs: a pronouncement of blessings on each tribe of Israel. Tradition and historical documentation note that it was Moses who wrote down the books of the Pentateuch, that is Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, but in the final chapter of Deuteronomy, the death of Moses is recorded posthumously by an unknown source. ## Actions - request_transcript: `POST https://stenobird.com/v1/public/podcasts/commuter-bible-ot-2653726/episodes/deuteronomy-33-34-psalms-68-69/transcription-requests` — Idempotently request low-priority transcript generation for this episode. - read_markdown: `GET https://stenobird.com/podcast/commuter-bible-ot-2653726/deuteronomy-33-34-psalms-68-69.md` — Read the agent-friendly Markdown representation of this episode resource.
