There seems to be a reference to the act of church discipline and the restoration of a repentant sinner into the fold of the church. As we get further into the book of 2 Corinthians, we’ll discover that the church had become impressed with a group of teachers referred to as “super-apostles” who in fact were false apostles. They came with letters of recommendation, so when the church asks Paul about his letters of recommendation, Paul simply says, “You! You are my letter of recommendation!” ## Actions - request_transcript: `POST https://stenobird.com/v1/public/podcasts/commuter-bible-nt-2656159/episodes/2-corinthians-2-3/transcription-requests` — Idempotently request low-priority transcript generation for this episode. - read_markdown: `GET https://stenobird.com/podcast/commuter-bible-nt-2656159/2-corinthians-2-3.md` — Read the agent-friendly Markdown representation of this episode resource.
