Jeffrey Epstein allegedly told authorities that while he was on house arrest in Florida, his security team caught a man dressed in black “like a ninja” hiding in bushes near him. According to documents later obtained from the Epstein prosecution record, Epstein’s attorney Jack Goldberger raised the incident in a letter while seeking changes to Epstein’s probation restrictions. Goldberger claimed Epstein’s security chased the man back to his vehicle, recorded his license plate information, and later concluded that the man had alleged links to the Gambino crime family. The whole thing reads like one of the stranger corners of the Epstein record: a convicted sex offender, under supervision, claiming he was being watched or stalked by a mafia-linked figure dressed in stealth gear. The key point is that prosecutors apparently did not treat the claim as some major verified mob conspiracy, and there is no public proof that the “ninja” episode was exactly what Epstein and his lawyer described. It may have been a genuine security scare, an exaggerated attempt to loosen his probation conditions, or another bizarre episode in Epstein’s long habit of surrounding himself with paranoia, private security, and dramatic claims about threats around him.
