In this episode of After Hours Arc , I get into The Otherworld’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter — and this one honestly surprised me. We follow Seiichiro, who gets pulled into another world by accident and instead of becoming some hero, he asks for a job. From there, he ends up working as an accountant inside the palace, and that’s where everything starts to unfold. What begins as a slow, almost comfort-type isekai turns into something with a lot more going on. Between the kingdom’s financial issues, the miasma problem, and everything happening inside the church, there’s a lot more beneath the surface than I expected. At the same time, the relationship between Seiichiro and Aresh is what really holds everything together. It starts off a little chaotic, but as the season goes on, it turns into something much more balanced.
