Not every organisational structure was designed. Some were simply repeated. A file stayed where it was easiest to save. A meeting survived because cancelling it was inconvenient. An approval remained because nobody revisited the reason for it. Over time, convenience accumulated until it became indistinguishable from strategy. ------ This episode explores Convenience Architecture — the organisational phenomenon where repeated convenience gradually becomes organisational design. There is usually no villain. Just reasonable decisions made in isolation, quietly becoming permanent. ------ The deeper question is not whether convenience exists.
