Yesterday vs Newcastle was pure pain, no cap. I lost that league match and I was vexed the whole night. Couldn’t pass, couldn’t shoot, my whole gameplay was just off. No shots on target, midfield was dead, I was basically gifting them the win. I went to bed mad at myself because I knew I could’ve done better. So today I loaded in with one thing on my mind: “I’m not losing to these guys twice.” Same team, same competition, different energy. First half was still tight though. No goals, lots of tackles, but I could feel the difference. My midfield was actually holding the ball this time, and I wasn’t panicking. I kept telling myself to be patient, that something would open up once Newcastle got tired. Second half is where I took my revenge. I switched to a two striker formation and bro, that changed everything. Around 60th minute my first striker scored — proper tap-in, poacher’s goal. Then later my second striker picked up a loose ball and finished it clean for 2:0. Newcastle managed to pull one back late to make it 2:1 but the game was already done. Revenge served cold 😂 Both goals came from each striker, so that formation switch actually paid off. Yesterday I played rubbish, today I finally played like I wanted. Moved a bit, but still not where I want to be on the table. Training continues. Thanks for visiting
