This week, they discuss AI whistleblowers warning that the technology could kill all of us within a decade, Abdul El-Sayed saying your kids should be "our kids," James Talarico being very slippery with the truth, and Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman participating in the GOP midterm convention. First, they react to a former Anthropic employee saying Anthropic and OpenAI are not operating responsibly, that AI will soon be beyond their control, and that it will kill all of us within the next decade. Jim and Greg don't think humanity will be wiped out over the next 10 years but they are bothered by tech company leaders who don't seem to care if they lose control of this technology. Then, they rip Michigan Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed for saying "If I had one political philosophy it’s that I want us to build what we would build if we took seriously the idea that all of our kids were all of our kids." And of course he's using kids to further his radical, big government agenda. Next, they highlight the slick lying of Texas Democratic U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico. Now that he's running statewide, Talarico claims to have been a vocal critic of Pres. Biden's border policies at the time. But his argument implodes once it faces the truth. Finally, they discuss Sen. Fetterman taking part in the GOP midterm convention. Jim points out that Fetterman is hated on the left and too liberal for the right. So will Fetterman run for re-election and what will that look like? Please visit our great sponsors: ZocDoc Your health matters and taking care of yourself shouldn’t be complicated.
